I want to thank you for all of your assistance (especially
gobby...who seems to answer much of people's questions in this group). My
install went well once I figured out that compiz-gnome was a line I could
edit out from the repository list (which Gobby told me how to do, thanks
again).

My comments so far (only 1 day in so far):
The music loads faster for Mplayer.
The system has less lagging.
Visually not much has changed (which is a good thing because I was comfy
with the layout I had on Feisty).
Umm...nothing bad to report so far actually.
