Gutsy Gibbon: CD or DVD

Date: Jan 03    Category: Unix / Linux / Ubuntu    Views: 409

I am planning on buying a CD or DVD of Gutsy Gibbon 7.10. What are the
advantages or
disadvantages of a CD vs a DVD. I know that the DVD holds more data, but
doesn't the CD
hold all of the needed files for Gutsy Gibbon?

It was a general fact with out getting long winded. Yet, here is the difference.

The DVD includes both Ubuntu, Kubuntu and Xubuntu. If you don't want all three
there's no reason to ask for a DVD, a CD will do just fine.

DVD is the better media but it depends on what CD drive you want to run
it in.
