Gutsy install

Date: Dec 09    Category: Unix / Linux / Ubuntu    Views: 321

I didn't put a more updated version, because I know Gutsy works on real
old, junky computers. Can't get the restricted drivers application to
work, and I can't get Flash Player to install. Does that stuff not work
anymore, due to support for Gutsy expiring or is there some trick I can
utilize?

I don't know what computer you are using, but I have a "playwith"
computer that has 256MB of PC-100 RAM, all drives are SCSI, and it is
using a pair of Pentium Pro 200 CPU's. I have installed Jaunty Jackalope
with ext4 file system. It works, but it is very slow.

Well maybe I'll try that. I was thinking of turning this Gutsy install
into Satanic Ubuntu.
