When the next LTS version is released there will have to be an
upgrade path for those that chose the LTS option with 6.06LTS.

It would be ridiculous to expect anyone go through 1/2 a dozen
upgrades just to get to the next LTS version. In fact it would be
meaningless to have an LTS version if that was to happen then,
because you would effectively be making them upgrade to each version
sequentially anyway so why not just make them do it with each version
release as they come out.
