I've had my wifes computer on duel boot and some of the teachers at thelocal middle school solely on Ubuntu 10.10. Use use Opera because itworks best with the schools IE targeted apps.I received a email this morning from several of the women teachers (andmy wife has said this too) that when they go to EOnline they cant watchthe videos. One posted me this link:www.eonline.com/.../...s_hold_it_against_me_video.\html?cmpid=rss-000000-rssfeed-365-topstories&utm_source=eonline&utm_medium=rssfe\eds&utm_campaign=rss_topstoriesIts Britney Spears new video.First thing I notice is they are running Vevo.Running the page in Chrome isnt as smooth as I would like either. There are other little video apps on the page and I cant get any of themto run at all under Opera.Im running Opera version 11.00, Build 1156.I think the school is running one version behind. My wifes is running 10.5(ish).Would someone who runs Opera look at any videos on eonline.com and seeif they too are having this issue? If its just their vevo app - not muchI can do there.
Chrome browser in 64-bit Ubuntu 10.10, Flash 10.2.The video played nicely for me, as did the small enews video on the same page. Iwent to the Vevo site and watched the video in 720P.My internet connection is not fast enough to play 1080P smoothly.
was there a flash up date a little while ago?
There was and I did run it on my computer but not on the school or my wifes.
It ran in FF 3.5, 4.0, Chromium, Chrome, Rekonq and Opera 11.1 withoutproblems. I am running 64-bit Kubuntu 10.10.There should be an extra charge for having to watch Britney Spears videos.
