Lost the top bar

Date: Dec 07    Category: Unix / Linux / Ubuntu    Views: 501

I was going through synaptics and removing some stuff I didn't need to make room
on my EeePC, and I lost the top bar with the clock, the wireless controls, the
battery display, etc.

Which package would I need to reinstall to get it back? Actually, it's great to
not have them there so I get full screen on firefox, but I need to know how to
bring it back when I need it.

Put your mouse over the bottom bar and
right-click.

Choose 'New Panel'

Right-click the new panel, click 'Properties,'
and set its orientation to 'Top"

Now just add whatever you need......
