LiVES video software

I have been experimenting with LiVES software. My desire is to be able to
select multiple clips out of a video, put them end-to-end, and save. No fancy
transitions, no overlaps, no editing of the frames.

I like LiVES because is it the only one I have found that shows the frame by
count. I can go frame-by-frame and select excactly what I want.

But I have not figured out how to take more than one clip from the same video
without having to save the previous one to disk. LiVES is really slow when
dealing with the hard drive. Plus it is crash prone.

Does anyone know how to select multiple clips without a save between?
