I know what you are saying. I tried to install a game useing apt-get and
aptitude and got a depends error too. Even in synaptic too. Even the lib or
depends was even installed. The game installed any ways. A other thing I notice
that I used alien to convert a RPM to a deb package and nothing changed with the
RPM. It said it was converting the RPM over to deb and no errors at all. So
there is some strange bugs in this version.
Eh it is free, but kinda scratching my head a bit.

Sometimes there is a script that must be included in the DEB when you convert
from RPM. You need to add a parameter. I think it is --scripts or -c. I have run
into this problem when the DEB has failed from time to time.

I went to http://www.rainlendar.net/cms/index.php and there is a Deb package and
will be easy to install that way. See if you can DL the deb package and install
with out any depends issues.

That is what I used - direct from their site.

I had no issue of installing the pro version deb package and installed just
fine. I wounder if you enable the restricted formates? It installed and can be
found under office apps. You got me scratching my head on this one.

Restricted formats? Ok. Im lost.
Are you saying I some how restricted files from running on my computer so now
this app wont install?

Answer #7    Answered On: Dec 26

no. I ment did you install restricted formate like you know, flash, dvd,
mp3 and so on. It adds extra repositories to the apt/etc/list. I wounder if you
got those added. MMMM very instresting.

I used their package from their site. When I click on the installed it gets just
a ways into it and then shows me the error.

I dont know what DL is.
