I am currently using the rh 7.3 version on my laptop( Compaq presario
800), which is working smooth. Now i wanted to upgrade it to rh8.0
version.

When i tried to install, it tried to initialize 1394 and pc Card .
When it come to the stage "Initialization of PC Card" and hangs
there.I am using the PCI CDROM drive (external). But it did not give
any problems with rh7.3.

I would appreciate any inputs on these.
