Not sure why you are having so much trouble Alex, but every distro has
instructions, wikis, and FAQs on their sites. Google is also a very useful
tool.

You couldn't install Windows? What version? Installing it is about as simple as
you can get in most cases. Of course YMMV.

Windows is very easy to install, but the Linuxes are very different one from
another. But it seems that my computer does not take them

You said you failed to install Windows too?????? Look on the sites
for the distro. There is a plethora of information there. And
discussion forums that will answer all of your questions.

What is your system specifications?
Like CPU
Ram
Vid card
sound card
Type of Hard drive
Or make and model of the PC

I failed with installing many other distributions as well near
Ubuntu and Windows: Granular, Lorma, Suse and Eyenux.
