Configuring wireless

Date: Dec 28    Category: Unix / Linux / Ubuntu    Views: 318

I installed Feisty Fawn on a used laptop with no OS for my daughter. All has
gone well, except that every time she turns it on she has to enter the wireless
WEP hex key to get online.

Is that normal? I only had to do that once with my pc which is also Feisty
Fawn.

you can save the settings using the LOCATIONS tab on the configuration
window. they should call that SAVE SETTINGS AS, but they call it
LOCATIONS. i dont know why they're not clearer with that.
