I think I've been too wordy in my request........ So I'll pare it down.
I want to try Ubuntu on a new iMac.
It finds the wireless in the device window ........... But doesn't
show it in the network window.
How can I turn on the device so that Ubuntu will allow me to use it,
and see in as a network device?
Once I back up my drive and repartition the Windows section to expand
it, I will finally install Ubuntu and use the computer as three-OS
system. As you might see, I'd sure like to try it on the Internet with
the live-cd -before- re-do the hard drive and install it.
Beyond that........
I'll try it in my MacBook in a couple of minutes and see if I have the
same problem......... I want these two computers to be my main triple-
OS systems for the next few years as a creative cad/cam set-up for a
pic to 3d real world model process I'm working into in 2d and 3d with
cnc-cutters, 4-axis mill, a laser-cutter or two by the end of the
year, and some other assorted tools and side-stops along the way.
