I opened Synaptic and Searched for CUPS, Foomatic, Gutenprint, and HPLIP. On
all of these there were aspects of the program installed, and parts uninstalled.
Not really sure if everything I need is installed or not. The links at the end
of your reply looks very helpful. I'll be looking into them for more clues.
