Anyone Running Ubuntu on a HP Pavilion SlimeLine s3550f

Date: Dec 18    Category: Unix / Linux / Ubuntu    Views: 506

I'm running Ubuntu 8.04 on an older, much older XP Pro machine, and I'm
still working through issues on that computer, but I'm hopeful that
I'll figure everything out eventually.

But it's working well enough that I'm already thinking about running
8.04 on my s3500f HP Pavilion and I was wondering if there is anyone on
this list running Ubuntu on one of these HP computers, any comments
would be welcome.

I don't want to trash my main computer or even give up half of my hard
drive for a dual install if this computer is a poor canidate for Ubuntu.

Acacia mother board with nVidia MCP61 chipset,
Samsung HD501LJ SCSI hard drive,
ATAPI DVD DH16A6L SCSI CdRom drive,
And an unspecified RealTek audio card,
The rest is identical.
