Ubuntu will not print to my attached laser printer. The printer emits a fewgrunts and chirps but does no printing. The printer itself checks outworking fine with another windows computer.My guess is that something hiccuped during the original Ubuntu install or acorrupted driver. How can I force a complete reinstall of the printer?
Well can you gave the details on your printer. Like make and model?
The printer is Samsung ML-1210. It has worked before on other linuxpackages--Redhat, etc. Not to mention, Vista, XP, etc.
System -->Printing --> Add Printer> Samsung ML-1210Make sure that the printer is on before going to add printer.
