To install anything you use Synaptic. Start it, type in your user password,
click on the Search button and type in what you are looking for - that's the
hard part!

When you find it, click on the green checkmark on the toolbar and it will do
the rest. You do need a live Internet connection. A lot of the stuff listed
will make no sense to you but there are lots of real gems of programmes too!
