just tried to see if i can install the Xubuntu on top of Win2K pro and
had the following error messages:

buffer I/O error on device hdc, logical block 0
hdc: erro code: 0x70 sense_key:0x03, asc:0x11, ascq:0x00

is the hard drive bad? i am running the Win2K but plan to reformat the
hard drives (there are two) and clean install the Xubuntu.
