switching from XP to Linux

I am in the final steps to completely switching from XP to Linux, but
have one final task to accomplish. How can I import a PST file into
Thunderbird? Or is there a 'better' email client for Linux. I'll be
using Ubuntu for my main OS. Currently I'm on 10.04.

I only want the email messages and not
profiles. So my best bet is to install Thunderbird on my XP partition
and then backup to a USB drive using Mozbackup and then import into
Linux/Thunderbird?

Yes. I wouldnt over write your c: drive until you have
everything working. Backup to thumb and go from there
sounds like a good plan.
