Running of CD

Date: Dec 26    Category: Unix / Linux / Ubuntu    Views: 336

I want to try running Ubunto (5.10 I think) How will it affect my Vista
installation?

If I reboot, will it blow away all traces of the Cd session?

What about malware viruses etc.?

The latest version of Ubuntu is 8.04. Running from the CD will have no
effect on your windows and will leave no trace behind (you can even
remove your hard drive and still use the CD to surf the web and use
other functions of the OS).
Do not worry about malware of any kind as nothing is saved. Linux is
very safe from all of the Windows type malware even when it is installed
onto the hard drive.

If not said yet. There is a newer version our there and can be DL off of Ubuntu
