No Sound Mixer in Koala?

I just upgraded from Jaunty to Koala
and the sound seems pretty flat. In
Jaunty there's a mixer in the sound
menu - but in Koala it's missing.

Do I need to -install- the mixer now, or
am I just looking in the wrong place?

ALSA mixer may need to be installed. Or you can type in the terminal
alsamixer
Then tweek your settings.
