Epson 4180 Photo Scanner

Cant really find any simple info. to solve my scanner issue.
I have tried simple scan and Xsane and neither recognize my scanner.

Seems this is one of the Epson models that is difficult under Linux,
many of them are plug-and-go but not this one :-( The link below may
help as it seems to work for some but not others...

Go to http://www.avasys.jp/lx-bin2/linux_e/scan/DL1.do They have your
scanner listed. I used their driver for my Epson 4490. It works flawlessly.
