I'm trying to get the desktop effects to still no work! My systemis AMD 1.333 with video on the board a 40 Gig HD,and sound too. Ididn't know if I need video card or not or do I need to up loadberry?The OS is Ubuntu 7.4,can en one help please.
If you have like low ram. It will be very slow. What effects are you trying todo? Did you install the 32 bit or 64 bit Ubie? Is you on board vid just a reg,Nvida or ATI? This command in the terminal should list all of your devices. Lookfor vid and should tell you.lspci -v
