I am very new to Ubuntu, I took it as a Christmas present for me and my
family, I installed it on our PC on the first day of Christmas and I can say
Ubuntu is superior to Windows from many points of view, although Windows has
certain advantages (I can use the Visual Basic 6.0 programming environment,
which is wonderful). I wanted to make some partitions, 40 GB for Ubuntu and 40
GB for Windows XP but I got angry because of the stupid adverisements from
Microsoft, I took out the Windows CD and put Ubuntu instead. Now I have Ubuntu
on my PC, Windows is deleted. My only concern now is that I have great
difficulties with configuring the pppoe Internet connection under Ubuntu. Please
tell me what would the best option be: put another IDE hard disk when I want to
use Windows or put a serial ATA hard-disk for Windows ? Can I install the
blessed and goddamn' Windows on a serial ATA hard-disk ?
