Select Duplex Printing-Excel 2003

Asked By: Geeske    Date: Feb 11    Category: MS Office    Views: 1118

Is there a way to use VBA code to configure printer settings?
Specifically, I need to be able to force duplex printing when printing
a 26 worksheet workbook. I've done a lot of searching for a solution
to this issue. I believe you can manipulate printer settings in Word
but not Excel. Please tell me there is a way to do this in Excel 2003!!

One old trick that works with Word that should work for Excel is to define
several printers in Windows that point to the same printer. In Windows, go
to "Printers & Faxes" and define a new printer and point it to the existing
printer. Then just change the printer properties to match what you need. So
you can have a printer named HP xxx Duplex and then set the property of the
printer definition to use duplex.

I'm the fellow who asked you about buying a copy of Visio Pro 2003. Sorry to
ask again, but I'm a longtime legitimate customer.

How can I get a legal copy at a decent rate? I'm recovering from homelessness
with a Stanford and Cal education. I'm clean, sober and trying my best to get
back to work and productiveness.

The current version of Visio is Visio 2007, so if you need to acquire Visio
2003, you will have to look on Ebay or one of the other sites selling used
software. If your version of Visio is one of the ones released by Microsoft,
then you qualify for an upgrade to Visio 2007. Anything released by Shapeware or
Visio Corp does not qualify.

I do technical support for Visio and have nothing to do with the marketing side
of Visio. So other than relay what I have said, I cannot go any farther.
