I am using Feisty, and did not really configure Samba. There is a Win XP
computer on my network with two attached printers, and I can print to both of
them. I can also browse shares on that computer.

However, I can't log into shares on my Feisty installation from Win XP, even
after creating an account there with the same userid and password. (This may not
be much of a problem, but I'm not sure if I will ever need to do this.) Any
insights?
