i've done this:ubuntulinuxhelp.com/.../Now, how do I share content throug network from linux and for linux?
SAMBA is primarily for windows filesystems (hence the name SMB = servermessage block, the very chatty windows protocol). Linux - Linux sharingis better accomplished via NFS - network file system. Take a look at :tldp.org/HOWTO/Networking-Overview-HOWTO-5.html or try somegoogleage.
None of the links are working. Only the Red Hat responded but redirected toa main page. But I found out something about it. Even shared a folder :)
I am glad you got it working... Though if Linux to Linux I use SSH/SFTP bothbuilt tight into gnome.
