Search in Synaptic for ftp (I use gFTP which I installed from Synaptic)

Works fine.

Another question. What is a good HTML editor to use? I've tried
OpenOffice Writer but it seems to be a little difficult for me. I
enjoy Netscape Composer which is fairly simple and does the trick.
But I don't have that in Linux Ubuntu. Any recommendations?

i have enjoyed using which is quite similar to
Netscape which i have also used in the past. Kate is another... there
are many. All i can suggest is that you search on synaptic and install
a few.

I installed KompoZer but was disappointed when I tried to open a .php
file. It wouldn't do that extension. I ended up installing Quanta
Plus. I like that one pretty well. It uses the KDE web browser to
render the page as you're working on it so you get a good idea of how
things will look.

I just installed the default FTP program for Breezy and I am happy
with it. No frills, it does the job. When I upgrade to newer Ubuntu
versions, I'll get a better selection, I'm sure.
