The Synaptic Package Manager shows several FTP clients that one can install. Doyou folks have a recommendation?It would be for only occasional use. I'm running Lucid & Gnome.
Filezilla works really well for me on the Windows side. I imagine itwould work well on the Linux side also.
I'll give a thumbs-up for File Zilla on Ubuntu too, works great

I've never tried Filezilla. gFTP works fine for me, it's "classic" FTP.
