I am a nubie running EEEPC Ubuntu 8.04 off a 2g USB stick before I
actually install to my 2g surf EEEPC. I need to successfully run both
gpsk31 and gmfsk before I will go to the bother of an installation.

I have, or I think that I have installed both gpsk31 and gmfsk but I
cannot find either in a folder so that I can click to run them.

At one point in Synaptic Package Manager which is in Administration I
saw it mention that they would be in "Other". Where is "Other"?

I would appreciate any info on the correct method of installing new
apts and where they will be located.
