I spent a good part of the day trying to understand what I found on
the cinelerra.org site. I could not find a deb download, or if I did I
installed it with there directions. Problem is I don't find anything
on my computer disk to tell me I installed it.

I did a search of the filesystem and failed to find the program name.

Is anyone using cinelerra? do I need to install git to download the
program? To little info in the manual for me I guess, would love some
help with this.

The only thing I managed to do was unlink my sound system, with junk I
tried to load while playing so will start uninstalling what I put in.
