How can i change the default font in ubuntu?Lernid looks too much like lemid and confused me. ( LERNID / LEMID )has anyone a recommendation for a font?

If you don't already have it installed, I'd say install "Specimen" a fontpreviewer.holmwood.id.au/.../It should be available in the repository Synaptic - it letsyou type out any character you'd like to see within your chosen preview font andfont size.
Liberation Serif seems the best so far,a lot of them have no noticeable difference betweennumeral one and small 'L' and capital 'i'
