I was just reading this article
www.phoronix.com/scan.php
about the Sapphire Radeon HD cards and through its a ATI card they are
using a NVidia 180.08 driver.

Why?

Beats me? I have never heard of this before. I wonder if it is a typo.

I have been checking this out and youre right, must be a mistake.

I did find this though:
wiki.cchtml.com/.../Ubuntu_Jaunty_Installation_Guide

That seemed to work for ATI drivers.
