32bit or 64bit adobe Flash ?

I need to hear from you guys if the 64bit version of Flash is out and running
smoothly.

At the beginning of the year, I had Kubuntu 64bit on my computer and running
well UNTIL Flash sent an update! Their 64bit Flash stopped working. I tried
alternatives but was not satisfied. In the end, I switched back to Kubuntu 32bit
to kill the problem.

Right now, I'm waiting for Kubuntu 11.10 to come out at which point I'm going
rearrange my hard drive, and in so doing, reinstall Kubuntu. Wether I install
Kubuntu 64bit or 32bit depends on Flash. If Flash 64bit causes more trouble than
the 32bit, I'd rather stick to the 32bit but if they've cleaned up their mess,
I'd be eager to go back to 64bit. So I'm looking for your opinions on the
matter.

I installed 64-bit Ubuntu 10.10, then I installed the "restricted extras." Flash
has worked flawlessly for me. Same with 11.04 and 11.10 on other partitions or
computers.

I know that I get updates for Flash from time to time. I don't know, and don't
care, what version of Flash I am using. I have never specifically installed
Flash.

At the time, earlier this year, it seemed that Adobe had suspended maintenance
of the 64 bit version of Flash. The update I had received at the time was thru
the repos. It probably depends on the graphic card. I guess I'll try the 64bit
install and see how it goes.

The good news is that while looking at videos today on youtube, one video
actually came in in html5! No Flash! signs of things to come!

It was on, then off and now on again. We shall see what it is next week.

In addition to what gord_lib mentioned, I think there is no problem to run
32 bit flash on a 64 bit system, right? Someone may need to correct me, but
I think that is accurate...
