flash

I am trying to figure out how to get Firefox to
have Flash loaded. I assume it is an add-on or
plugin. I have searched for flash and find only
upgrades or flash tweek plugins but no flash.

Any help here?

Flash isn't installed with Ubuntu and has to be added in afterwards
with the 'Restricted Extras' package that you'll find in the Ubuntu
Software Center. This adds in a whole load of extra that for licence
reasons cannot be included with Ubuntu itself. Usually that's all you
need to to get flash working correctly in Firefox or any other browser
for that matter

Got them loaded and now have it working so far.

open a terminal, copy and paste:

sudo -E wget --output-document=/etc/apt/sources.list.d/medibuntu.list
http://www.medibuntu.org/sources.list.d/$(lsb_release -cs).list && sudo
apt-get --quiet update && sudo apt-get --yes --quiet
--allow-unauthenticated install medibuntu-keyring && sudo apt-get
--quiet update

Now,

sudo apt-get install ubuntu-restricted-extras

sudo reboot

Medibuntu is useful for things like adding in encrypted DVD playback
but not needed to get flash player working. The standard restricted
extras is enough for that
