On the video, you can send but not receive, can see yourself in the test screen?
I dont use that software but I have been experimenting with Skype and there is a
test area to see if you can see yourself from your camera? If you cant, your
probably need drivers.

What camera are you using?

Type this at the command prompt:
lsusb

this will show you a list of things attached to your usb port.

Unless you do not have you cam hooked to the usb port.
