Just got it open -- & since I've been a gnome user since
Enlightenment changed absolutely ~everything~ back in 2001 or
2002, the kde-systemsettings so as to not burn my oh-so-sensitive
eyesight -- & it looks OK so far:-).

That's OK. I've not just grown very cynical about ~lots~ of
things over the years -- Luddite that I am -- my 'puter needs
have changed a lot. I guess it's a good thing that I will soon
be the owner of a Mac Mini. While my tried & true P-III 500 will
continue to run Ubuntu, I think I may be converting completely to
the "Everything is done for you" Mac world soon.
