Evolution SMTP Is Using The Wrong Username

Date: Dec 26    Category: Unix / Linux / Ubuntu    Views: 574

I had this problem once before, but I don't remember the solution.
I'm trying to get Evolution up and running on my HP laptop. Receiving
works fine, but when I try to send, Evolution is ignoring the Username
I entered on the "Sending Email" tab (n5kzw) and is trying to use 'ed'
as my SMTP Username.

My pop3 service and SMTP service are from different providers with
different Usernames and passwords. I'm not sure where Evolution is
getting the 'ed' but that is my Ubuntu login account.

The frustrating thing is that I have a Toshiba laptop (running 7.10
and Evolution 2.12.1) sitting right next to the HP laptop (running
8.04 and Evolution 2.22.1) and the Evolution settings are identical.
The Toshiba sends fine, but the HP is picking up the wrong SMTP Username.

Any suggestions?
