Last time I looked you didn't. You must pay Yahoo for the ability to
use a client. Go to yahoo and check what you need to use Pop and mail
and you can see for yourself, they may have changed things from the time
I tried. I use gmail now for all my mail.

Oh, one more thing. I use Thunderbird as my client. Now Thunderbird
does the work of setup. It checks with your mail server for the right
settings you just put your e-mail addy and password in the appropriate
box and it does the rest.

I have it set up in Thunderbird but the settings should be the same.

Go to yahoo web/mail on line click help and search mail setup/server/settings.
It is simple just get the correct ticks for 'authentication' and 'encryption '
on this AOA netbook with Ubu 10.4 I have googlemail and hotmail set up.
