developing a Macro

Can anybody help me developing a Macro which can copy of the contents
of a row & insert those copied cells in the next row , on clicking a
button.

Yes, we can. That's what we're here for.

You'll need to give more detail, though. A specific row  every time, or one the user selects? Do they select the row just by having the cursor on it, or are tehy asked to select the row when the macro  runs? Or is it always the last row on the sheet? What happens if teh next row already contains data? Should this be overwritten, or a new row inserted to accommodate the paste?
