Removing macro's shortcut key

Asked By: Lewis    Date: Sep 03    Category: MS Office    Views: 2944

I have been working on a visual basic application for few months. I
inserted many useful macros (and some useless) in an excel sheet
amit.xls in this duration .

Whenever I press Ctrl + Z, all columns in my excel sheet except one
gets eliminated. I do not remember name of this macro with shortcut
key Ctrl + Z. I do not know how to disable this particular macro from
my computer or how to remove shortcut key Ctrl + Z.

I am not sure how to find the answer in an automated way, however, if
you open the macros  dialog box (Tools, Macros, Macros) you can
highlight the macros which are displayed and click on the Options
button and either assign a CTRL+ shortcut  or see what you have already
assigned. At that point, I would then edit my code to include the
keyboard shortcut in a comment.

This addin is probably what you want if you've got lots of macros

Please check whether any short cut key  combination is assigned to run
a macro. Press Alt+F8 and select Options, you will get a new window
with macro  options where you can assign/remove short cut key for a macro.
