Can anyone recommend a book or tutorial for abeginner in Visual Basic that would apply to Excel. I know that I canget help on macros, but I would really like to understand it just a bit(just my nature I guess).
For making the transition from Macros to VBA, I found the book "VBA andMacros for Microsoft Excel" by MrExcel to be a very smooth transition.The most important thing for me was a specific project that forced me tocontinue seeking & learning.
The "Excel 200x Power Programming with VBA" series from JohnWalkenbach was (and still is) invaluable for learning and continuingeducation in VBA and related topics.
I would recommend:"Excel Programming" 2nd edition by Jinjer Simon. Comes with a CDROM.Read less - Learn More!
I have to agree with this recommendation. I refer to this book often when I amworking on a VBA application.
