I got interested in VBA with Excel just to write a quick and dirty program that
would help me evaluate new 52-week lows that I pulled off a website and pasted
to an Excel spreadsheet.
The program works really well and I'm very happy with it. I see, however, from
some recent posts that I seem to have sold myself short on what I could do with
VBA and data from websites, as well as a few other things.
Rather than ask a whole bunch of questions, let me just ask one: can anyone
recommend a book or two that would really help me understand the full range of
capabilities with VBA and Excel.
Although I am not a programmer by trade, I have over the course of some years
learned to program in C, C++, PHP, ASP, assembly language, COBOL, and Fortran
just because I've always been somewhat associated with programming. So a rank
beginners book is probably underkill for me.
