Date: Nov 27    Category: Unix / Linux / Ubuntu    Views: 570

is it worth to try to get veoh work on Ubuntu?
I tried some on Debian but with no success.
Installatin of Wine and Firefox for Windows was easy, but failed to install the
new release of Veoh Webplayer and Flashplayer for (Windows-) Firefox.
Has someone please an up-to-date and working how-to?

Gnome desktop, fire fox, and flash player. Some times have misunderstanding with
each other. However, Empathy web browser works fine on web site. That FF has a
misunderstanding with flash player. Empathy web browser and be installed through
synaptic. If you are just starting out in Ubuntu. Please install the restricted
CODECS VIA synaptic. This has flash in the CODECS.

Why are you messing around with Wine? Veoh works just fine in Ubuntu 10.10, just
install the restricted extras using Synaptic.
