Start Ekiga and skype automatically on start up

I have Ekiga and skype on my ubuntu 8.04 machine. How do I get them to
start automatically on start up?

system > preferences > startup programs

Ok, went system>preferences> but found no start programs but entered
sessions> added skipe and ekiga into start up programs>session> options
and clicked remember currently running applications. That seems to work
for now but if I change sessions I guess they will not start?

I am running Jaunty now and do not recall the layout of 8.04 menus
sorry.
