RTF to Excel format

I have a document in RTF format, I wanted to convert into Excel format, so that
i can write some macro to manuplate the data. But I am not sure, how to convert
the RTF formatted data to Excel format. Could anyone of you help me on this?
Note: I can convert into word document.

I think RTF file can not convert  to Excel file in directly .
Try this :
RTF > Text File > Excel File
or RTF > HTML > Excel File
