Date Format Excel

I am importing data from Access into Excel. I am having 2 problems.
The first one is formatting the date.
The second one is some of the data which shows up in excel has a lot
of space before it. If i check in Access it is fine there.

Can someone please help me with that. I am a beginner to VBA.
