I a cleaning up a dataset that has a column for email addresses. I
want the user to be able to click on a hyperlink and be able to send
and email from within Excel. I have created a function to create a
string that is an email address. How do I get Excel to convert the
email string into an email hyperlink.

If you wanna do that without any plug-ins you can use gmail or other emails. Just compose a letter(of course you can leave it empty) and attach the html files then send them to yourself. Check this email in “Inbox” then you can open the attached email files in html form. if it doesn't work, you can try some converter softwares which i think is also good to use. i can give you some advices in converting email to html because i always do such a work. i always turn to some third party software which contains the function of converting pdf to many other formats . this sdk can do email to html conversion in c# ,net. vb, etc. as for ppt, i know some softwares are professional in such conversion , you can search on google. good luck. www.rasteredge.com/.../
