What are the requirements to use the jdk1.4 printing api in Linux
RedHat? I installed the JDK in a Linux RedHat server v7.X with LPR
as a printing service. I find that the example from SUN's website
Print2DPrinterJob.java allows me to view and select the printers of
the server but no matter which printer I choose in the page dialog,
the output allways goes to the default printer of the server.

I am thinking that LPR may not be compatible with the Java Printing
API
