Playing with OpenStack is anyone else?

I know that many are trying to network their home. So was wondering if
anyone was thinking of a private cloud? I see a lot to learn however it
looks like JuJu will be very helpful.

I am thinking it is a good area of study. For myself I am looking for
computing power for my netbook without any outside connection. I don't
yet trust the cloud with my information so will keep it local. Many
large companies are the same way and want to keep the computing in house.

What I noticed is my netbook will not shut down with OpenStack
installed. Anyhow would like to exchange info with anyone wanting to
learn this discipline.

Have you looked at CrashPlan - it offers backups to harddrive, cloud and
friends computer as well and has programs for mac, linux and windows. It
appears to cover all the options with price plans from zero upwards.
