I downloaded a audio program.Nothing I dont do all the time, but this time its very skewed. It sounds like there is this echoingnoise when you play them.I had complained several times andreceived new versions but all threewere doing it. I got a chance todayto play them on my XP machine and theysound fine.
Which program??????????????????????????????
Totem 2.30.2..........................
I'm no Linux expert but this is what happens when you double click and play twoidentical files at once. If they are both playing they sound like a really heavyecho.
One of my Ubuntu computers does thisbecause it has a *feature* which previews a sound filewhen i leave my mouse over it, after double clicking...
That is kinda what it sounds like but not as bad.But I just tried that and you cant do that, from what I can tell, on ubuntu.
Have you tried playing them with rythymbox or vlc?
Did you install Medibuntu? If no, see this page about repository:https://help.ubuntu.com/community/MedibuntuAfter, run in konsole:sudo apt-get install ubuntu-restricted-extras vlcgstreamer0.10-fluendo-mp3Open the file with vlc
If you are playing the file in VLC click on the <tools> drop-down menu.Click on <Adjustments and effects> Make sure you do not have thespatializer check box selected. For audio I like to use the graphicsequalizer as I have dead spots in my hearing frequencies.I have noticed that the spatializer will make an echo so check that out.
